Tala Flagship Showroom Opens This September

Putting British design back on the map. 

We’re preparing to open our first permanent showroom in Shoreditch this September, ahead of London Design Festival and we couldn’t be more excited. With the renovations underway, we’re getting ready to open the doors to our new home on 40 Rivington Street.

As we enter our eighth year of business, the launch of our showroom will help to illustrate our evolution from specialist LED bulb manufacturer to holistic lighting brand.

Working closely with local architect Thomas Longley, our transformation of the former men’s clothing store has been designed to make as little impact as possible; the wooden flooring, exposed brick walls and metal staircase which will all be restored, while the till cabinet will be upcycled to form part of a kitchenette at the rear of the space.

We have also teamed up with Smile Plastics and Farrow & Ball to feature low impact materials and recycled matter which will form the central theme throughout.

The Floor Plan.

Now, let’s discuss the floor plan.

The ground floor has been thoughtfully designed to showcase a full suite of chandeliers, pendants, floor lamps, low-level table lights, and portable lighting options. Additionally, you'll find inviting breakout seating areas furnished by our showroom neighbours Vitra, along with a convenient kitchenette where you can enjoy coffee and cold drinks during the day, and delightful cocktails in the evening.

Descending to the basement, we have a range of professional services on offer. At the heart of this space will be a central table perfect for clients to collaborate and share design plans. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore Tala'’s extensive library of material swatches and various bulb options.

Our ultimate goal is to create an all-encompassing space for our valued customers. By visiting our showroom, you'll have access to the complete package of lighting solutions and design expertise.
