These mysterious, elegant structures became the inspiration for the Root system for Tala. Material + Manufacturing
Each joint is crafted from forged solid brass.
This is achieved by heating and shaping the brass under high pressure, compressing and aligning the metal’s internal structure, creating a stronger form.
Forged brass is deeply rooted in historic lighting and architectural traditions, long associated with bespoke European metalwork and heritage craftsmanship. It relies on highly skilled craftsmen, which ensures subtle refinements, symmetry, and consistency.
