Custom Canopy Designs to Inspire

Over the years we've seen customers push the boundaries of what is possible with our lights. Lighting designers around the world have matched our pendant cable with a custom canopy to create something truly unique. In this article, we've collated some of our favourite designs to inspire your next project: from trendy cafes and hotel lobbies to luxury residential settings. 

Protein Studios 

The adjoining cafe at Protein Studios in Shoreditch, London, boasts a display so impressive that almost every passer-by stops to stare. The scheme incorporates dozens of Voronoi III bulbs in the central cascade, bordered by numerous Oblo bulbs hanging in a linear formation along the bar and counters. 

Residential Project - Netherlands 

Hanging from a custom square ceiling canopy, over 20 pendants and bulbs create a constellation of light and glass. Displayed in the central cavity of an impressive stairwell, each bulb is reflected in the glass panelling, multiplying the impact of the warm, unique light filaments. 

The Bank, Cornwall

Transforming an old bank into a family home, the designers of this residential project installed nine Voronoi II bulbs and Brass pendants in a custom ceiling rose, creating a truly unique and powerful stairwell display. 

The Edwardian Manchester, Radisson Blue Hotel

For a truly astounding hotel lobby, look no further than the Edwardian Manchester. Featuring over 30 Voronoi II bulbs displayed sporadically at different heights, the intention for this project was to seize the attention of guests and create a warm and welcoming reception at any time of the day.
