Panel Discussion: Light Engine - Dim to Warm Technology and Lighting Control
We were delighted to partner with Lutron, the leader in the lighting control industry, for a special panel discussion about our newly launched Light Engine range.
Hosted at the Lutron Experience Centre in London, the event provided an engaged audience of lighting designers and industry experts with the opportunity to interact with the light sources and test its Dim to Warm capabilities first-hand.
The range of high-performance, functional light sources has been designed to improve upon the characteristics that halogen is revered for, and as part of our reveal to the world we took a deep dive into this unique and potentially ground-breaking product.
Our Engineering Director Bertie Pleass – the brain behind the bulb – joined leading figures from the industry to discuss the challenges faced by lighting designers, how the Light Engine responds to these problems, and what brands, specifiers and manufacturers must consider when designing lighting solutions in the future.
“I’m impressed by the new engine launched by Tala: its futuristic design is very impressive and its flexibility and output make it such a powerful tool for us as Lighting Designers. The warm dim technology is such great addition to the Tala family, and I can see using it more and more into the Hospitality and Residential projects. Flexibility is the key and finally, we have a product out in the market which will allow creating endless scenarios.”

As we dimmed-down on the discussion, our guests were invited to stay to take full advantage of the Lutron Experience Centre, using their in-house dimming controls to see for themselves the full capabilities of the Light Engine.
